There are many and varied service organizations represented within our parish. These include:
Altar Society: Men and women who assist the Pastor in maintaining the church and making preparation for liturgical celebrations. Typically, we clean the sacred linens, maintain candles, and some very light housekeeping.
Hospitality Ministry: Volunteers who help make our parish a welcoming parish. They also take up the offertory and other duties during Mass.
Prayer Hotline: The Parish Prayer Hotline consists of dozens of concerned parishioners. A prayer request is sent via email to the prayer hotline, and the intention is added to the hotline prayer request list. These parishioners immediately pray for your intention. If you have someone with a chronic or acute illness, we can also put their name in the bulletin “Pray for the Sick” section, where the entire parish will keep your loved one in their prayers each week. Please call us back when you are ready to remove his/her name from the bulletin.
Offertory Counters: Teams that count the offering of the parish collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month. Contact the Parish Secretary, if interested.Men’s Group (Boonedockers): All men are welcome! Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of most months, in Britt Hall, at 7:30 PM. The Boonedocker's are the "go to" organization for several major projects around the parish. We also provide a Turkey Dinner in November, and Lenten Fish Frys.
Women’s Prayer Breakfast: Adult women of the parish gather together on the 3rd Saturday morning (7:30) for Morning Prayer, Rosary, and breakfast with a featured speaker presentation.
