I am so honored to be the Principal of Immaculate Heart of Mary.
In 1995 I began my teaching career in Dallas, Texas where I taught 5th and 6th grade math and science at an inner city public school. As our family began to grow we started an extensive search for the best Catholic school system we could find for our children to attend. As a result of that search we chose to relocate our family to Northern Kentucky and I am proud to say that all 3 of our children are graduates of IHM.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas and my Master’s Degree from Northern Kentucky University. I have also have been enrolled in Xavier University’s PLC program for the past 4 years. I have had a wide range of teaching experiences over the past 20 years. Along with teaching 5/6th Math and Science, I have taught Spanish for 4 years, 2nd grade for 9 years and for the past 4 years I have had a unique role as an intervention specialist working with the gifted students here at IHM in grades K-8.
I look forward to working with all the dedicated teachers and staff so that we can partner with parents to provide our students with an excellent faith filled academic experience.
