Welcome to Immaculate Heart of Mary School! My name is Elaine Wagner and I have been teaching for 20 years. I spent my first year teaching 3rd grade. I then went on to teach 4th grade for 17 years and during that time I also taught 5th grade for 4 years. I taught 7th grade Language Arts for the past 2 years, and this year I am beyond excited to be part of the Intervention Team at IHM!!
I am a proud graduate of St. Henry High School. After high school I went on to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from NKU, and in 2007, I earned my Master’s Degree in Reading and Writing K-12 also from NKU. Each year it is my goal to challenge each student and help them grow into a successful and independent learner. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. My husband’s name is Tony and we have 3 children. Our oldest daughter, Arlyn (20), is in nursing school at EKU. We also have an 18 year old son named Blake, who will be starting at NKU this year. Our youngest daughter, Reece (13), will be in the 8th grade at IHM.
I am looking forward to a very busy and fun school year!! Please don’t ever hesitate to email me with any comments, questions, or concerns.
