Lifeteen

High School Students

Life Teen is an international catholic program for high school students, covering a four year curriculum that consists of Catholic theology, teen issues, social activities, and social justice.  Social justice activities include a week long summer mission trip and monthly service activities and teachings. Social activities vary by month. There are two Life Teen retreats.  One is the winter retreat at the Fatima House in Indianapolis the first weekend in January after New Year’s.  The second Life Teen retreat is in July at Potter’s Ranch Retreat in Union, Kentucky. Life Teen meets normally on each Sunday from 4-6pm.  Cost is $1.  Other social activities may require an additional cost.

Life Teen Core Leaders

To be a core leader of the Life Teen high school youth ministry program, they must be virtus trained by the diocese, have a background check, meet with the youth minister, shadow a few experienced leaders during Life Teen or EDGE nights and be willing to participate in at least two Life Teen activities during the month.  Leaders must be at least 18 and out of high school.  Any age is welcome, with no experience necessary.  There are two meetings of core leaders, one in August and a free core leader retreat the end of December.
